1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CrawlTide ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

2. Description of Service

CrawlTide is a SaaS SEO analytics platform that provides website crawling, issue detection, keyword tracking, backlink monitoring, competitor analysis, AI-powered recommendations, and related services. Access to certain features depends on your subscription tier.

3. Accounts and Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service to crawl websites you do not own or have permission to analyze; (b) attempt to circumvent rate limits, feature gates, or security measures; (c) resell access to the Service without authorization; (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (e) transmit malware or harmful content through the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, code, and content are owned by CrawlTide. You retain ownership of your data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process data as described therein.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. CrawlTide shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though we may retain certain data as required by law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
