It depends on your site size. A 500-page site typically completes in 2-5 minutes. Larger sites may take longer. You can monitor progress in real time from the project dashboard.
CrawlTide checks for 25+ issue types including broken pages (4xx/5xx), missing or duplicate titles, missing meta descriptions, orphan pages, redirect chains, thin content, missing alt text, and more.
No. CrawlTide crawls your site externally, just like a search engine bot. No code changes, DNS records, or plugins required.
CrawlTide uses DataForSEO to provide keyword data including search volume, CPC, difficulty, and competition. Research results are automatically saved to your project so your keyword library grows over time.
AI Visibility checks how often Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT Search, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity mention or cite your site for the questions you track, and which competitors they pick instead. See the AI Visibility guide below for how the score works.
Connect WordPress (via REST API + App Password), Webflow (API v2), or Shopify (Admin API). With WordPress, CrawlTide can update page titles and meta descriptions and publish articles. With Webflow and Shopify, it publishes articles to your blog. Structured data (schema) is not pushed to any CMS: CrawlTide gives you the snippet to add yourself.
A weighted 0-100 score that factors in issue severity, category importance, and page value. It includes subscores for errors, indexability, content, links, and accessibility. Tracked historically across crawls.
Add competitors by domain. CrawlTide crawls them with the same engine it uses for your site, then compares health scores, keyword coverage, and identifies content gaps where you have opportunities.

Open Billing from the sidebar in the app. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Yes. Extra seats are available at $6/month per seat on any paid plan.
We use Stripe for payment processing. All major credit and debit cards are supported.
Open Billing from the sidebar and click Cancel. Your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Your data is not deleted immediately.
Yes. The crawler auto-detects whether your site needs JavaScript rendering and falls back to Puppeteer for SPA frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
Set a schedule (daily, weekly, or hourly depending on your plan) in project settings. CrawlTide runs crawls automatically and generates a digest after each one.
Yes. Connect from the project's Search Console page or Settings with read-only Google access, then pick the property. CrawlTide syncs your top queries, pages, clicks, impressions, and CTR. See the Search Console guide below.
Yes. We use HTTPS/TLS encryption, httpOnly cookies, CSRF protection, bcrypt password hashing, AES-256 for stored credentials, and rate limiting. Infrastructure runs on DigitalOcean with managed database encryption.
